Lawrence says HH3 will beat Jang Geum
"Healing Hands III" will be airing this Monday, and leading actor Lawrence Ng says that he has hopes that the series will exceed the ratings for “Jewel in the Palace”. But upon knowing that “Jewel in the Palace” had once reached a rating point of 50, he immediately takes it back.

TVB’s series HH3 stars Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Gigi Lai, Melissa Ng, and many more attended the opening event for the series’ broadcast, and even Lawrence especially made a trip from Shanghai to return to Hong Kong in support. He also reveals that he has hopes for the ratings of the series, and asked if he has confidence it will beat out “Jewel in the Palace”, he responds, “Of course!” Told that “Jewel in the Palace” highest reaching point was 50, he says, “No way! That high! I wasn’t in Hong Kong so had no clue of that. I have to return to Shanghai tonight to continue with my filming, so the following promotional events for the series I won’t be able to take part in, but I have already reported it to Miss Tsang.”

On the 28th, TVB has arranged for the Red Cross to make a stop at TVB City, and it was scheduled for the cast of HH3 to donate blood on set. But Gigi says in response to the event, “I am very afraid of needles, but Miss Tsang has ordered for us all to donate, so I’ll have to see how it works out!” Getting a new haircut, she displayed an air of business associates, and she laughingly says, “Because the event had to have an air of professional doctors, so I wore a business outfit!”

As for Bowie who has never donated blood before, he says, “I’m afraid that my blood isn’t clean enough! Actually, it’s because I don’t even have time for sleep because of filming, so trying to find time for donating blood is even harder! But last year my check up said that I am very normal, just that I am afraid to get needles!”

Moses and Melissa on Blood Donors
Moses Chan, Bowie Lam, and Gigi Lai will be heading out to Yinchuan next week for filming of outdoor scenes for “Dancing Flames Yellow Sand”, staying for just over a month. Because the weather there can reach up to 48 degrees, Moses was asked if he was worried he might not be able to handle it. He responds, “All though it is hot, but sweat can easily be dissolved. I am actually more afraid of the wind, because filming outdoors in Hong Kong earlier, there was a time where the wind blew sand into my ear drum, and I ended up having to need a doctor to wash it out. So for precaution I will have to bring a mask.” As for what he thought of the blood donation for HH3’s promotional event, Moses admits that he has donated blood three or four times before, so he will surely donate this time. He says, “People who have never slept in a hospital bed do not know the importance of donating blood, people who have experienced it will, will surely donate.”

As for Melissa, who has already started donating blood since her studies abroad, says, “I’m not afraid to get needles, and I actually like to watch shows that talk about plastic surgery! Both my parents are doctors, so I’m am not afraid of pain or blood. And when I was little my dream was to marry a doctor too!” Asked if the reason she watches shows in plastic surgery is because she has plans for it, she responds, “No, I don’t disagree to plastic surgery, but I for sure would never do it.” Reason because she feels that plastic surgery not only affects the person, but parents as well, because after plastic surgery, you wouldn’t look like who you were born to be.
