This week, TVB's official magazine TVB Weekly launched a reader vote for the top popularity icons
featured within its pages over the last year. Unfortunately, the vote is only open to Hong Kong based readers, so for most of
the TVBspace readership, this will be of little relevance.
Part of the aim of TVBspace is to bring TVB fandom to the far reaches of the Earth, so through the magic of the revamped
website, we can hold our own Popularity Vote and see how our tastes compare to our Hong Kong counterparts!
Okay, here's how it will work. Listed below are the suggested candidates as featured in the TVB Weekly vote,
but of course translated into English. There are no nominees as such for this vote, any artiste or singer is eligible provided
he or she has appeared on a TVB series or show between 1st March 2004 and 31st March 2005.

This is just a bit of fun, so there are no actual 'awards' as such and I am not going to HK again for at least a few years so I won't
be able to present them anyway (even if I managed to track down the winners!). Also I can't offer the thousands of dollars of voters' prizes up for grabs in the official vote, but I
will randomly pull out a couple of lucky winners from those who send in a vote and send them some TVB promotional goodies (including
something I picked up from my recent travels) - so get voting!
