'Revolving Doors' Promo in Philippines
TVB's new series "Revolving Doors of Vengeance" will begin airing next week and in a huge promotional event, TVB have shipped sixty cast and crew members over to Laoag in the Philippines, including producer Pook Ka Tak and cast members Kenix Kwok, Ron Ng, Ella Koon and John Chiang.
Throughout the proceedings, rumoured couple Ron and Ella kept their distance though, only posing together for photographs. During filming, there had been talk of Ella turning up late for shoots, but she was on time for the flight, whereas Ron was half an hour late. He explained that he had to pick up other people on his way to the airport and this had made him later. He went on to say that he did not want to speak to Ella too much in case the press got the wrong idea. Although the show will be filling in the space left by the highly popular "War of In-Laws", Ron does not feel pressurised by this because the series are very different, "Revolving" is more along the lines of "At the Threshold of an Era", with plenty of family scheming and misunderstandings so it will be worth following.
As the group arrived at the hotel in Laoag, they were greeted by a huge welcoming party before taking part in a golf challenge. However, producer Poon indicated that the artistes weren't very good at playing, so they just posed for photos instead. Kenix missed her shot and was rather embarrassed, saying that she would like to learn to play, but doesn't have the time. In the past, she found out that Lawrence Ng was a golfing enthusiast, even swinging an umbrella in a spare moment, but she has no intentions of taking lessons from him because he is so busy. Kenix will not put any pressure on herself for the new show because there are many elements resulting in high ratings.

'Revolving Doors' Promo
Ron Ng, Ella Koon, Kenix Kwok, Elaine Yiu and Winnie Yeung took part in a promotion for "Revolving Doors of Vengeance" earlier and rumoured couple Ella and Ron seemed to be trying hard to evade each other once again. When they were allocated each other as partners for a three-legged race, they were forced together, but tried their hardest to keep their distance as Ron didn't even offer his arm in support to the lady. Even MC Ellesmere Choy picked up on this and commented: "Ron, give her a hand! Be a gentleman!" Although there was no co-operation between them, they still won the race and Lo Hoi Pang commented how suited they were to each other!
Afterwards, Ella was asked whether Ron was lacking in gallantry and she replied with embarrassment: "We're just friends! We did pretty well and won! (Does he usually treat you like this?) I don't remember. Girls nowadays don't need to be looked after and my career comes first at the moment. I hope you will enjoy the show. (Uncle Pang say you are well suited?) It's irrelevant, don't talk about this any more. (Did you not say hello?) As soon as I got here, I had to start the show, so we didn't have time to say anything."
As for Ron, he denied not communicating with Ella and asked why he didn't help her out, he said: "She wasn't going to fall, she was very steady. (Would you rather people say that you are being rude than say you are dating?) You could say that." Asked about the reports of his constant tardiness, Ron admits that he has been oversleeping and promises to change this bad habit of his.
