Anne Takes Lessons from Gong Li
Michael Miu, Anne Heung and Bosco Wong took part in the blessing ceremony earlier for new series "Shanghai Legend" and asked what he thought of his new co-star after the departure of Maggie Cheung, Michael says: "She is pretty good, we can finally start filming now! Don't put too much pressure on her being the substitute for Maggie and taking a second hand role because as an artiste, you have to grasp every opportunity to perform. It's a shame I can't work with Maggie, but when I saw her looking rahter puffy, then I realised that health is much more important." Working with Michael for the first time, Anne praises him, commenting on how well he has kept his looks and is very handsome. She reveals that they will have a love affair in the show and asked if there is a kissing scene, she syass he doesn't know. Anne wore a chipao at the event and she says she has many chipao scenes so she will be working on finding suitable hairstyles to match.
As the show has already filmed 7-8 episodes, Anne has only just received all the scripts and has been doing her best to learn the lines quickly. She has also been watching some of Gong Li's films for inspiration. She doesn't have time to learn how to make dumplings, so she will have to try and pick it up as she goes along. She laughs that she likes to eat them, so this will make it easier.
Bosco will be playing Michael's adopted son in the show and he says that he admires how stylish Michael is. He sees Michael as an idol and hopes to be like him, filming hard, but also finding time to enjoy a round of golf.

TVB Slams the Abuse of Complaints Procedure
For the grand opening of Disneyland Hong Kong, a series of special events spanning three days were held, including a big evening show and firework display. Many artistes took part in the show and as well as airing the event on television, TVB were also responsible for filming some of the preview clips, one of which featured Joyce Cheng dressed as Snow White. Hwoever, this show was met with numerous outcries from viewers who bombarded the HKBO with 170 complaints about the show, but with some rather absurd comments about Joyce being "scary" and a bad influence on children. TVB External Affairs Manager Tsang Sing Ming indicated that TVB itself had only received one telephone complaint and two emails to date. He indicates that TVB only provided some artistes, airtime and equipment and the production was entirely done by the Disney company. The complaints received were an abuse of the official procedures and are unreasonable and unfair to those who are dedicated to their work and art.

Kenix wins over Men with 60 inches of hair!
Kenix Kwok has signed as spokesperson for a hair creations centre and with the support of a master extensions stylist, she has many different hairstyles when she appears at events. Shooting a set of stills ads for the company earlier, Kenix donned a set of 60 inch hair extensions for her new image that wowed the crew. Kenix herself was also very excited because she has never dreamed of having hair that flowed down her body like a waterfall. To complete the look, a half naked man had to lay across her and as they sat on the sofa for over an hour whilst the crew weaved their magic, they were praised for their professionalism. For the shoot, Kenix had to stare lovingly into the eyes of the male model and for her, this was fairly easy, but the model seemed a little awkward and embarrassed.
As she has quite fine hair, Kenix has had extensions before, but traditionally, the process takes a long time and can be quite unnatural. Kenix is pleased with the latest developments becuase it is like having your own hair now and it is very easy to manage.

Tired Yoyo Awaits New Love
Yoyo Mung took part in a cosmetics promotion recently and seemed rather tired as some reports suggest this was due to her recent lost love. She admits that she has been crying and this has left her with rather large bags under her eyes but she has been covering this up with make-up. ASked if this was because of her split with ex-boyfriend Kwok Yiu Fai, Yoyo did not want to discuss this at first but after some hounding from the press, she admitted tht she had split with Kwok because of a difference in personalities. As for news of Kwok's lightning marriage proposal to a supposed good friend of Yoyo's, she syas that she can only wish them well. She adds that she is still good friends with Kwok and they greet each other when they meet, but she emphasises that she does not know the other girl very well.
Asked if she has been crying because of the split, Yoyo says that this is actually a happy occasion. Is this because she is pleased to be out of this triangular entanglement, she says that there is no right or wrong answer because she has not analysed the situation. She says she would like to find a new relationship soon and indicates that her boyfriend has to be tall and faithful.
Yoyo has been busy filming for "Forensic Pioneers" and has been learning to swim and ride horses especially for the part. However, after several injuries from falling off the horse, producer Miu Siu Ching has ordered her to stop.
